This is a beautiful swell, very like starbound with those sharp piano sounds on strings/pads.

That switch in emotion is extremely nice, it's done tastefully rather than complete noise (although I do like me some pure chaos too). Creates a very ominous and uncanny feeling throughout. The added bit of story included in the description makes this feel very inspired and interesting, and on top of that, its composed pretty well too.

I was expecting some generic love song stuff, I like that it takes a bit for the fact that its not serious to kick in. The classic cut off megalovania at the end sells it for me.
Actually a decent song though lmao

I got Cyriak impressions before I even read the description. Nails the weirdness with those barely controlled dissonant chords.

The waveform isnt utilising the full range of volume, there is no part that is hitting the top, so its just quieter than it could be. If you use fl studio, you can load in the finished audio file, then open the sampler window for it and enable "normalise". This isnt compression, it just gains it as much as it can without clipping.

Aside from that:
I would probably call this chill electronic, its really relaxing to listen to and everything blends nicely, especially the delay plucks + the quieter gliding leads behind it.
This works great as bgm, not too flashy and intrusive, but certainly not dull.
This is definitely something i could see people getting a lot out for "meditation" eg studying, drawing etc.
The beginning build to those first kicks is really fantastic with those pads and arps. A great build.
